The MS 40 hardening furnace is designed for the annealing, hardening, and tempering of steel. The hardening furnace has a durable steel frame made of angle iron, which is resistant to high temperatures and thermal stresses.
The furnace's working chamber has a thermally insulated door. The hardening furnace's heating element consists of spiral heaters made of high-quality resistance wire. These heaters are housed in replaceable fireclay plates, allowing for replacement if damaged. The furnace's working chamber is thermally insulated using ceramic fiber plates. The charge temperature is set to within 1°C using a temperature controller connected to a thermocouple. The hardening furnace can be additionally equipped with: - a controller with 4 time/temperature programs - a silicon carbide floor to protect the lining from damage - an increase in heating temperature to 1250°C - an upward-opening door - a table for the furnace
