Protective heat-resistant leggings, fastened with velcro, are designed to protect the worker's feet and shins from hot environments such as flames, molten metal splashes, slag splashes, and intense thermal radiation. Heat-resistant leggings consist of a shin guard and a foot guard. One side of the shin leggings is sewn with velcro along its entire height; the other side is sewn with velcro across the width. This allows for the leggings to be adjusted. A heat-resistant split leather strap with a metal buckle is attached to the lower part of the foot guard. This strap is located at the junction of the heel and sole of the safety footwear, preventing the gaiters from shifting during use.
Protective heat-resistant leggings are made of metallized paraaramid/Preox fabric.
