The protector is designed to protect the user's head and face during work, protecting against heat sources such as flames, molten metal splashes, slag splashes, and intense thermal radiation.

The protector is worn over a safety helmet.

An aluminum frame is attached to the head and face protector, which houses a protective filter. The user can use various visors, such as polycarbonate, glass, or composite, as needed.

The head and face protector is made of metallized paraaramid/Preox fabric.
