IM 175 machine vice has a cast steel body, hardened jaws and a screw with a trapezoidal thread. The steel body is characterized by very high resistance to both mechanical damage and attrition. Hardened interchangeable jaws have notches protecting the material against slipping whilst working.  The vice screw , diameter 24 mm, with a trapezoidal thread ensures a strong clamping of the workpiece in the jaws. The vice screw is equipped with a knob that can be easily and quickly removed after clamping the material in the jaws. The vice is intended for machine tools equipped with a working table; it can be used, for example, as a vice for a drill press or milling machine.
