Log tongs enable efficient one handed operations to lift and turn logs for example, in preparing firewood. The elongated design of these tongs allows you to grip trunks and logs without having to bend down excessively. The ergonomic handle of the tongs is made of natural oak wood, protected with linseed oil. The wooden handle of the tongs ensures comfortable work in all weather conditions, even in winter.
The tree tongs feature a belt or hook attachment, a double yoke that guides and stabilizes the working jaw, strong self-locking screws and nuts made of stainless steel, and sharp jaw tips that are contoured to facilitate automatic opening of the arms during the initial stage of grasping a log or stump. All metal parts of the timber tongs are made of 6 mm thick material. The maximum jaw opening is 330 mm, allowing for gripping trees, especially those with larger diameters.
Using one tong, you can move logs approximately 40 cm long, while using two tongs can move logs approximately 1 meter long. Using tongs, the work becomes less tiring for your back and hands.
