The anvil PERUN-Vintage looks like the anvils formerly produced, among others in England or America. It is especially recommended for artistic blacksmithing, metalwork and shoeing. The anvil has a conical horn. There is an additional table between the face and the horn, which is lowered against the surface of the face. In the back of the anvil there is a hardie hole for attaching mandrel tools and a pritchel hole for piercing the working material. The base of the anvil does not have an additional block for upsetting. Instead, the weight of the material from the upsetting block has been shifted to the center of the anvil's body. Thanks to this solution, the impact energy during forging is more absorbed by the body of the anvil. Additionally, the anvil looks much larger and massive compared to other anvils of the same weight. The base of the anvil is milled from the bottom, which makes it more stable and better soundproof during forging.
PERUN anvils are made of specially processed alloy steel, which, due to its properties, is intended solely for the production of blacksmith anvils and vices.
